A common salaryman and long-time employee of Nogi Publishing, a subsidiary of the Nogi Group. His dull life takes a turn when he meets fighter Ohma Tokita and discovers the underground world of Kengan battles between corporate gladiators. While overwhelmed by this secret society and Tokita himself, Yamashita finds himself drawn into this strange world.
